He admits to an obsession with high heels and moustaches (although not on the same person) which are also recurrent themes in Allan’s bold and fun work. Außerdem haben die Leute von Nurant.it noch eine Ausstellung bis zum 25.August in der Bar Officine Libra, Via Buonarroti 72, in Monza laufen. Bei der Ausstellung werden einige der Werke nicht an der Wand hängend, sondern unter durchsichtigen Tischplatte präsentiert.

Durch die Dreidimensionalität bekommen ihre Illustrationen natürlich einen einzigartigen Stil.

I am an illustrator specialized in clay illustration and other materials which allow me to work in volume.
I love to explore the possibilities of each project working with all kinds of elements and textures. Once the illustration is finished, it is photographed and delivered to clients in high resolution digital format.
If the model needs a hard and rigid finish, I use polymer clay.
My illustrations are used in books, magazines, advertisement, online marketing, etc.
I also prepare 3D models in polymer clay for customer presentations, prototypes and custom props.

Wieder mal eine Empfehlung für ein tolles Portfolio von mir!
Valeria Docampo, eine Illustratorin aus Buenos Aires hat für mich einen ganz eigenen Stil. Sie hat sich auf Kinderbuchillustration spezialisiert und ist damit mittlerweile ganz schön berühmt geworden.
Ihr Portfolio sollte man sich unbedingt ansehen. Ich finde ihre Illustrationen jedenfalls wunderbar!

Yulia Brodskaya’s Paper Art ist einfach genial! Wer sie noch nicht kennt, der sollte definitiv ihre Seite besuchen. Ich bin ein großer Fan von ihren Arbeiten.

Neulich bin ich durch Zufall auf die Seite von Patricia Waller gestoßen. Ihre Häkelwerke sind wirklich einmalig…und so wunderbar böse.
Die Welt hat 2009 einen Artikel zu einer ihrer Ausstellungen verfasst, der wirklich gut passt. Hier ein Auszug:
Ein Szenarium des Grauens erwartet den Besucher in der Galerie Deschler. Überall wo man hinschaut, fließt Blut. Aus den Köpfen schöner Frauen, denen ein Blumentopf, ein Bügeleisen oder gar ein Flugzeug auf selbige gefallen sind. Aus den abgeschnittenen Daumen, die einmal dem armen Konrad aus dem Struwwelpeter gehörten. Oder aus dem überlebensgroßen Fleischwolf, in dem eine lächelnde riesenbrüstige Miss Piggy sitzt….
…Und dabei wirken Wallers gehäkelte Kunstwerke auf den ersten Blick so niedlich…
